Abstract

The cap has a cover for fitting to a bottle, so that it cannot be removed without a special tool and on which a spout pivots between a position shutting off the opening in the cover and one in line with it for pouring. The cover (12) and the spout (14) are so shaped that only the tip (42) of the latter is accessible when in the shut position, and the cover has a wall portion (44, 46) with a groove in it, in which the tip is situated in this position, clear of the groove base. The tip cannot be gripped directly by the fingers, but a tool must be inserted under it to lever it into the open position.
