Abstract
The convection type electrical heating element is of the type having a finned body, heater from the interior. The body (1) of the heater contains at least an electrical resistance (3) thermally connected to the finned body by means of a filling material (5) consisting of a conducting body or solid semi-conductor. This filling material is of granular or powdery form having a high thermal conductivity, such as quartz. The fins with the heated body present a continuous projecting surface. The high thermal conductivity material has a coefficient of expansion which is sufficient to absorb the expansion of the heating element.
