Abstract
The fuel injector pump (12) delivers fuel corresponding to the position of its control rack as determined by the manual lever (13) and kept within upper and lower limits by a centrifugal governor (15). The maximum position of the pump rack can be limited by a stop (16) varied by an electrically operated servo motor (17) whose drive spindle is provided with a tread meshing with an interior thread in the stop (16). The servo motor receives its commands from an electronic regulator (18) responding to signals from a tacho generator (19), engine temperature and oil pressure.
