Abstract
The engine shaft (2) is coupled to a centrifugal speed regulator (3), which is adjustable. The engine shaft is also connected, via a centrifugal clutch (4) to the shaft (5) of a flywheel (6). The shaft (7) of the centrifugal clutch (4) is not directly coupled to the flywheel but by a free wheel device (8) and a second centrifugal clutch (9). This clutch enables the shaft (5) of the flywheel to be coupled to the engine via the other clutch (4). The flywheel (6) is mounted in a protective case (10) filled with light gas and is coupled to a variable output hydraulic pump (11) whose output (13) goes to a hydraulic motor (14), the output shaft of which drives the differential. The pump supply and flow reversal is controlled by a lever (12) connected to a control device.
