Abstract

The arrangement may comprise an engine (3) whose output shaft (37) is coupled via gearing (38) with a stationary hydraulic pump (39) driving the power take-off (8) through hydraulic motor (43), and via another gear with a variable hydraulic pump (40) driving the road wheels (2) through hydraulic motor (46). A signal line (47) from the high pressure side of the power take-off motor (43) may be connected with a control valve (48), with a further signal line (49) connecting the high pressure supply (44) of the propulsion motor (46) with the control valve, which in turn controls a signal line (50) actuating an adjustable stop (51) on the fuel pump housing (20) thereby determining the point of maximum fuel injection.
