Abstract
Adjustable polyphase transformer system for coupling two distribution networks. The transformer system is composed of equal adjustable single-phase transformers. Each primary is connected to one of the networks and the secondaries to the other. There is also a tertiary winding and a regulating winding connected in series with the primary or secondary. Each of the single phase transformers has at least one of the windings connected in the field of a different phase. The tertiary winding of one transformer is coupled with the auxiliary winding of another phase. The regulating windings are used to change the phase angle of the voltages.
