Abstract

A method of transforming a three phase supply uses a transformer in which only two phases of the three phases of the three-phase current are transformed, only two transformer secondary windings 53, 55 or 56, 57 being employed connected in series with one another so that one output phase is provided across each secondary winding and the third output phase is produced across the series connection of the windings. <IMAGE>
