Abstract

Procedure for transporting snow by which the snow is systematically lifted from a heap and moved to an inlet of a pneumatic conveying pipe line which at its other end is provided with at least one discharge pipe. The heap of snow is formed by bringing together adjoining natural deposits of snow and is lifted by sections positioned above each other across its length. The equipment for lifting the snow consists of a blower which feeds air at high pressure and high velocity into a pipe line fitted with a snow injector and at least one connection for attaching to it the discharge pipe. The injector is provided with a feeding device fitted with at least one part which projects in front of the injector and is movable in the lifted heap of snow.
