Abstract
Hollow rods contg. a cleaning flux for soldering and brazing, provided with >=1 longitudinal slits or perforations distributed over their whole length, so as to permit the flow of cleaning - flux over the articles to be soldered or brazed when the end of the rod is blocked by cooled solder or brazing metal after soldering or brazing. The design ensures, partic. in machines for soldering or brazing that the cleaning-flux is always available without need to cut off the sealed end of the rod after each soldering operation.
