Abstract

A field effect transistor controlled current supply circuit which uses, for stabilisation purposes, so as to be independent of the threshold voltage of the field effect transistor, a further transistor control circuit. The further field effect transistor (16) has preferably a threshold voltage corresponding to that of the initial field effect transistor (13) and is connected between supply terminals (11 and 12) through a resistance (17) connected to its control electrode. A semi-conductor (18) stage effects connection between the further transistor (16) stage and the initial transistor (13) stage. The semi-conductor (18) may be a diode. In this way the control electrode voltage of the initial transistor (13) has the same value as the threshold voltage of the further transistor (16).
