Abstract
The gearing is intended for use as a reduction gear for electric, hydraulic, internal combustion and compressed air motors and also for increasing the torque of a hand operated drive. After setting the required gear ratio by selection of the required number of gear teeth, selection of the required planet rollers can control the movement of the gearing. There are several planet rollers and they move on a smooth, freely running ring (5). Each roller (2) has a gear wheel (2) on each end and these mesh with gearwheels (9) on the drive shaft. The additional gears are situated between the roller ends. The drawing shows a gear (6) connected to a fixed annulus (3) and an output gear ring (5) meshing with a further gear (4) on the roller.
