Abstract

A double bracket slides up and down in a fixed frame, its two columns (5, 6) being rigidly coupled together so as to form a frame. Each of its parallel horizontal sections (12, 13) engages from opposite sides below the ends of panel supporting bars (22). These ends normally rest in slots on horizontal members (16, 17) forming part of the fixed frame. The ends of the supporting bar can be extensible to fit over the arms of the moving frame, being in the form of pins sliding in the bar. There can be slots in the moving frame arms corresponding to those in the fixed one, and the moving frame can be attached via ropes reeved over pulleys to a counterweight.
