Abstract

The mounting is particularly for a motor vehicle headlight, the lamp having a flattened base with a flange adjacent to the mounting. The device consists of a U-shaped clip (25), the arms of which are formed by elastic parallel blades (26, 27), fitting on either side of the lamp base. One of the blades in each pair works in conjunction with an outer face (12) of the mounting and the other with one on the flange (17), pressing the latter against the mounting. One of the blades in each arm can be cambered, so as to have sections in the centre in the same plane.
