Abstract

There is a driving head on which is hinged a body extended by a blade carrier to suit the vehicle. There is a helical spring to press the blade on to the windscreen by joining the head to the body. The body has a cambered tongue which, with the sides, forms a receptacle to house the arm end, retained by a screw going through one of a number of holes and fixing in a threaded hole in the tongue to form a secure fixing. The tongue, towards its head, has a hole in which is located one end of the spring.
