Abstract

1472077 Vehicle screen wipers ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 18 Oct 1974 [19 Oct 1973] 45160/74 Heading A4F A wiper device 10 for a vehicle head-lamp lens or other screen comprises a wiper arm 11 to be mounted for movement in a plane facing the screen , a wiper blade 12 pivoted to the arm 11 about an axis 13, which in use of the device is at least substantially perpendicular to the plane of movement of the wiper arm 11, and a stop 14 snap-fitted to the wiper arm 11 and having a projecting portion 15 to limit the turning movement of the blade 12 relative to the arm 11. The stop 14 has a passage 17 to receive the arm 11 and a recess 19 to receive a latching projection 18 on the latter. In an alternative embodiment, the stop (34), Fig.5 (not shown) is located between projections (32) on the wiper arm (31).
