Abstract

The plug pref. comprises a handle with a threaded shank and a seat for bedding against a seat in the body of the cock, the shank extending into a tip with one or more resilient retaining-tongues which are suppressed as the shank is passed through the body but spring out again beyond it so that when the cock is opened wide by unscrewing the plug completely the tongues spread against the body of the cock and prevent the plug from being totally removed and mislaid.
