Abstract
The mechanism is of the type comprising a cylinder (2) containing a piston (5) whereby the space (3) behind the piston is seen in the dampening directions is provided with an inlet (10) controlled by a non-return valve (14) and an outlet (12) with throttle (11) for the damping medium. The non-return valve if in the form of a leaf spring with a shut-off portion (16) facing the inlet port (10), the arrangement being such that, when the pressure in the inlet line predominates, the valve lifts, and when the piston-generated pressure is higher, the valve shuts. The leaf value may be secured between the cylinder body and the cylinder cover.
