Abstract

The equipment has one receiving station and number of deliver stations by which the plates are moved in a predetermined direction are diverted from that direction to a preselected delivery station. The equipment includes a number of rollers of which at least one is driven for conveying the plates. Each roller is mounted in a fork which is angularly turned in horizontal plane to alter direction of plate movement. The fork of each roller is activated by a solenoid which is attached to it by a rod and at least one station is provided with a feeler device for the plates whch is also controlling the turning movement of the forks.
