Abstract

One of the ink rolls (4") of the system has associated therewith another ink roll (5) adapted to be pressed into circumferential contact with the first roll to regulate the thickness of the ink film. The second roll is preferably one use to divide the ink film, i.e. feed it to two ink sub-systems. To effect the adjustment of the second roll, the bearings thereof may be connected by rods to eccentrics (8) arranged on the shaft of the first roll, the eccentrics being connected to a pin and slot device (9) for being secured in a given setting.
