Abstract

The body (1) of the nozzle has an omega shaped opening, that is, a central opening (3) with a wing on each lower side. Inside a circular chamber behind the nozzle is the valve plug (4), operated by a handle (8), having a cone shaped passage (9). This is sealed by a plastic ring (5) and an O ring (6) compressed by a screwed in gland nut (7). When opened up the valve plug directs the full flow of water onto the lower side (10) of the nozzle, causing it to form a spray. Turning the plug further directs the full flow through the central nozzle (3) opening, forming a jet.
