Abstract

The pedal drive may be adapted to any type of hull. The drive consists of a seat which extends forwards on a tubular frame. This frame is arranged to carry a pedal crank. The end of the crank is connected to a flexible cable drive which is connected to the propeller assembly at the rear end of the vessel. The propeller assembly has a clamp. so that it may be fixed to the stern of the vessel and can also be easily removed. The assembly may also be used for steering the vessel with the propeller.
