Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively remove marine living things adhered on the ship side by allowing a scraping-off element which is pushed onto the ship side by water flow to shift along the ship body from the stern to the bow part in navigation.
CONSTITUTION: A scraping-off element is constituted as scraper 1 and constituted of marine adhered living thing scraping-off rod 2 made of wood or synthetic resin, pressing plate 4 which is fixed with the scraping-off rod 2 through a V-figure shaped frame 3 and has a broad part in the longitudinal direction, two balance wires 5a and 5b, and steering wire 5c, and a mooring rope 7 connected with these three wires 5aW5c described above through a hook 6 equipped with swivel and a shackle. The pressing plate 4 receives the force due to water current F in navigation, and the scraping-off rod 2 is pressed by the ship side outer plate 12, so it is enough that the scraper 1 is only shifted gradually from stern to bow.
