Abstract

The revolution counter has a permanent magnet stator with a coil winding, and a toothed rotor, with the rotor teeth varying the air gap to provide a varying magnetic flux. The stator has a single pre-fabricated plastics support element, for retaining the coil winding and the current supply lead, and which is preferably made from a mineral oil derivative. The plastics support element may a fixing lugs for attachment of a conductor track, which forms the electrical connection between the supply lead and the coil winding. The cable holder for the supply lead has means for preventing the withdrawal of the lead.
