Abstract

The sieve comprises a cylindrical chamber (1) divided into two compartments by a diaphragm (2) with an orifice in the centre. At this point there can be a grille stopping passage of large particles into the lower compartment, and on top of the diaphragm there can be centripetal blades (4) directing the material towards the centre. The lower end of the chamber can be closed by a sieving panel (7). In the lower compartment zigzag members can be mounted, so that the material cannot flow directly in the radial direction towards the outside, at which point there is a spout for the discharge of large particles.
