Abstract
Adhesive dressing comprises an elastic non-woven support, pref. of continuous oriented polyester fibres, and an adhesive layer rendered porous by microperforation. The support may be obtained by damp-crimping of compacting the fibres in one direction tufting the fibres and incorporating them one within the other oriented in one direction, or incorporating in the sheet heat-shrinkable fibres (polyamide or polyester) or fibres comprising a deformable binder (or latex). The adhesive layer may be applied by transfer coating.
