Abstract

Support for large bandages, e.g. for burns over wide areas, consists of a woven carrier coated on one side with an adhesive at a rate of 20 g/m3. The adhesive is pref. applied in parallel strands to maintain good air permeability. The protective foil is divided by a slit in the centre into two parts so that it can be peeled off more readily. Bandage does not need two persons for its application. It does not leave fluff behind like some of the non-woven materials.
