Abstract

The main stationary contact is connected to one circuit end, and its other end is provided with a stationary terminal. The moving contact is in the form of a pin, to which is coupled coaxially a larger diameter tubular or pin-shaped bridging part cooperating with the auxiliary contact and stationary terminal. During breaking first the bridging part is removed from the auxiliary contact and then the small diameter pin from the main contact, while during making the sequence is reversed. The stroke of the moving contact exceeds the axial dimension of the bridging piece contact surface so that, in the OFF state, the moving contact is separated also from the stationary terminal.
