Abstract

Prefabricated, high voltage, air insulated, cell, having three basic compartments one of which contains a three phase set of conductors in rod form, the second protecting the associated cablery and the third situated between these two, for the circuit breaker, the compartments being separated by isolating screens. The circuit breaker is removable and has specific input and output points, which can be connected to the three phase system and the cable system by switches pivoting between the two and crossing the two screens, the arrangement of circuit breaker contacts and isolating switch elements being approximately aligned.
