Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a compact economical compound switch, by installing a circuit breaker and a disconnecting switch in insulator tubes and electrically and mechanically separably coupling the circuit breaker and the disconnecting switch to each other and providing a penetrated current transformer for which the coupling conductor for the circuit breaker and the disconnecting switch is used as a primary conductor. CONSTITUTION:The circuit breaker 4 installed in the first insulator tube 20 and the disconnecting switch 2 installed in the second insulator tube 30 are electrically and mechanically separably coupled to each other through the conductor 31 of an enclosed bus 30. The penetrated current transformer 3, for which the bus 30 is used as the primary conductor, is provided around the bus or a conductor coupled in series therewith. Thereby, the dimensions are reduced. Thus, the easily-installed economical compound switch is formed.
