Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a compact compound switch widely applicable to various circuit structures, by selectively installing circuit breakers, penetrating conductors, disconnecting switches, etc. in enclosed containers and attaching to the containers a plurality of support insulator tubes fitted with current transformers. CONSTITUTION:A circuit breaker 4, a penetrating conductor, disconnecting swiches 2A, 2B, etc. are selectively installed in an enclosed container 10, and two support insulator tubes 20, 30 fittable with current transformers 3A, 3B are attached to the container, thereby forming a first switch unit 9. A support insulator tube 40, which can selectively contain a circuit breaker 2C or a penetrating conductor and can be fitted with a current transformer, is attached to an enclosed container 50, thereby forming a second switch unit 49. The second switch unit 49 can be separably coupled to the first switch unit 9 through the enclosed containers 10, 50. Thus, the compact economical compound switch widely applicable to various circuit structures is formed.
