Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable easily response of compound switching device against the system configuration alteration by providing three flanges at a sealed container for containing through conductors. CONSTITUTION:Three flanges 11 to 13 are provided in a sealed container 10 for selectively containing breaker 3 or through conductors. Thus, lead-in breakers 2A, 2B are contained in breaker chambers 23, 33 divided by insulation spacers 22, 32 to permit supporting insulators 20, 30 connected to the buses 1A, 1B, respectively and inner chamber 42 to be passed with through conductor 43. Then, the insulator 40 connected to leading-in conductor 5 is connected via flanges 21, 31, 41 to the flanges 11, 12, 13 to thereby selectively connect them to the container 10 so as to easily respond to the system configuration alteration.
