Abstract

Internal combustion engine is automatically stopped and restarted. To stop the engine, a pulse relay is activated, and changes over a contact of a pulse switch from a first to a second position, to switch off the ignition and stop the engine. To restart the engine, the same relay is activated, moving the contact back to its first position, to turn on the ignition again; simultaneously, the contact of a pulse working switch is closed, to operate the starter and start the engine. A single element is used, and operation is reliable.
