Abstract

The adjusting system is for torsion springs, which are positioned inside a tube, the tube being connected to a wheel guide member, consisting of a strut and a support arm. The strut is adjustably hinged via adjusting elements to a guide arm. The guide arm is integrally formed wiht a seat for the torsion spring. Strut and guide arm may be connected via fasteners to a rigid steering section of the wheel guide member. The free end of the guide arm has a vertical guide slot for a fastening screw to the strut, and an additional guide slot, extending in longitudinal direction of the strut, to accommodate an adjusting screw.
