Abstract

Two conveyors are used; the incoming (A) being overhead, the outgoing (E) placed underground. Both meet at a common point which forms the centre of a circular track. The incoming material falls onto a conveyor (B) and is carried to the lower end of a second conveyor (C). This elevates the material above a thrower conveyor (D) to which it is linked by a bogie running on the track, and the material is heaped up. By reversing the two final conveyors and changing the position of all three by 180 degrees the system will feed material onto the outgoing conveyor (E) when the belt movement is reversed.
