Abstract
The generalised system for micro-programming is a hardware extension, based on a resistor MD3 which relates to the "native" mode of operation. H0, H1, H2 and H3 are stage extensions. H0 is, for example a converter for decimal code ACII/EBCDIC; H1 H2, are emulators for programming systems and H3 is a converter for 6 lit to 8 lit codes. ALU is an arithmetic and logic unit, CHU a channel unit, PMU A maintenance panel and ACU an address code. These items ae connected to the main processor by a common line BUS-A which permits flexibility in micro-programming, by using the line as a transfer to a working memory unit (SPU).
