Abstract

The door frame has profiled metal sections, attached to a central block of thermally insulating material (33). The metal chassis (9c) has two similar profiled double flanged sections (3c, 4c) which are bolted through the block to the central channel section (5c). A shallow U-section retaining strip is fixed across the open side of the central box channel (5c). A corner section may be fixed by bolted joints to the upper ends of the central channel (5) and has slotted apertures to enable to top lintel height to be adjusted to conform with the masonry. The vertical channels have a telescopic fitting to permit further length adjustment.
