Abstract

The semi-trailer consists of the tractor vehicle (1), two similar chassis parts (2) and a wagon (4). The front chassis (2) has no wheels and is mounted on the drawgear platform (5) of the tractor. The rear chassis has wheels. The wagon axles (7), (8) are raised slightly above the ground (9), between the rear wheels of the tractor and the wheels of the rear chassis. Each chassis has two longitudinals (11) and buffers (12) and drawgear of the normal type (13) to link to the wagon. Levers (15) enable the wagon axles to be lifted, missing the brake supports (17). These can be locked, or hydraulically operated. A ramp (23) is used to load and unload the wagon.
