Abstract

The car-transporter vehicle has a lower load platform with a supporting structure hinging at one end at a point on the platform. The other end has a supporting frame for the wheels of one axle on a car. A drive swings the structure up from the loading position to the travel one, the car being supported in a plane inclined to the platform. The frame (24) slides on the supporting structure under the action of a hydraulic jack (36) moving it between the rear position and the front one in which the car is transported.
