Abstract

A length of double walled tubular hose is knitted with pref. a double walled waistband at one end. Diametrically opposite points at the other end are secured (e.g. stitched) together to form a crotch portion with leg apertures on each side of the crotch portion. The panties are cheap to produce and comfortable to wear because they do not have a side seam.
