Abstract

The device is for use with a suspended filing folder to which access is gained from the side, and consists of a transparent U-section body of plastic material, along which there are spaced a series of tongues which can be covered with glue, so as to grip the vertical edge of a suspended file. The label receiving passage (45) enclosed by the arms of the U can be closed at the base, and there can be a lug extending from one of the branches for holding the edge of an adjacent file. The files can be made by unrolling a cardboard sheet and continuous forming of grooves, folds, recesses and glued areas, particularly to allow insertion of edge reinforcing components.
