Abstract
Arrangement for forming normal magnetic zones, in which the formation of abnormal hard magnetic zones is prevented, comprises a substrate (I) of non-magnetic material of formula Gd3Ga5O12 and a layer (II) of garnet leading to normal magnetic zones, formed epitaxially on the surface of (I) and having formula YxGdyR3-x-yFezX5-zO12 (in which R is Yb, Tm, Er and Eu; X is Ga and/or Al; 0.9 x 2.0; 0.0 y 1.5; and 4.1 z 4.6. Used for carrying out digital logical manipulations by storing or forming normal cylindrical magnetic zones in thin monocrystalline films of ferro-magnetic materials.
