Abstract

The vehicle has two tubes (1 & 2) connected to each other at their centres by a U-section member (3). Two spars (4) are connected to 4 tubes (5) threaded into split nuts (6) turning on rings on the outside of tubes (1 & 2). Varying the penetration of the tubes (5) adjusts the width of the machine. Two saddles (10) are fitted to tube (1) by clamps (11) and can be adjusted for width or moved on to spars (4). The working frame is attached to the tractor frame by a screw which also adjusts the machine for height. There are two basket support tables (13). On tractor frame (18) is a low power and speed motor driven pulley (23) connected by belt or chain to pulley (24) which drives the driving wheel (25). Steering is by frame (27).
