Abstract

An internally lugged (11) sleeve (10) houses a charge vessel (R) and screws onto the threaded end (6) of a water discharge conduit (1). The relatively shallow cylindrical sleeve (10) has diametrically opposed internal lugs (11), is open at the top, and is integral with a U shaped base plate (14). It has a side aperture (F) to allow a lateral sliding insertion of the flanged (22) charge contg. vessel (R). Approximately a 60 deg. rotation of the charge vessel using a projecting handle (21) causes the sleeve lugs (11) to climb the discharge conduits threaded exterior (6), eventually causing the charge vessel's flange (22) to bear on an O-ring which is positioned in an annular groove in the lower face of the discharge conduit.
