Abstract

The type of rail to which the device applies has a hollow rectangular box cross section (10) with a continuous longitudinal slot centrally in the bottom wall. Hangers (11) are of similar section and house the rail and typical support elements are horizontal cranked plates, the upper levels (12) of which are fixed to the ceiling by vertical screws and the lower elements (13) of which are wedged between upper horizontal walls of hanger and rail. Downwardly projecting spikes (12) can be provided either end of this support element so as to stick into the rail back, preventing longitudinal rail sliding. Rail end, double and wall fittings are also shown.
