Abstract
The control circuit for two parallel inverters feeding a common output transformer has the phase of one inverter synchronising signal shifted forward and the phase of the other synchronising signal shifted back by the same value. The points of intersection of the periodic sawtooth synchronising signal (Us) with an adjustable d.c. control voltage are determined, and the control signals for one inverter are derived in conjunction with a first point of intersection, whilst the control signals for the second one are derived from a second point. Each inverter has a ring counter (62, 63) controlling the thyristors and supplied from an addition circuit (60, 61) which adds together the outputs from two counters (53, 54 and 55, 56). Each counter counts the output from a frequency controlled HF oscillator (50) and is itself coupled to a common control unit.
