Abstract

PURPOSE:To bring the frequency of input horizontal synchronizing signal into the range determining the frequency variation width, by detecting the input horizontal synchronizing signal of television signal exceeding the phase synchronizing range while one or several lines. CONSTITUTION:The input horizontal synchronizing signal fref at the input terminal 21 and the output signal (f0/N=fdec) of the 1/N frequency divider 25 are compared at the phase comparator 22. The phase comparison input voltage is the voltage waveform shown in Fig. c, the comparator voltage waveform is limited from m to n so that the output signal f0/N can follow in the specified variation range against the frequency variation of the input horizontal synchronizing signal fref to determine the phase synchronism range. Further, at the voltage controlled oscillator 24, with the phase comparison output voltage shown as Y in Fig. c, the frequency f0 to the voltage within the said phase synchronism range is oscillated.
