Improvements in the construction of static power inverters with frequency-related voltage cut, characterized in that the inverter has a number of phase outputs, switching means for each of said outputs and a master oscillator, digitally coupled to said switching means for sequentially making conductive and non-conductive said switching means, for establishing an inverter output frequency, which is synchronized with a submultiple of the oscillator frequency, a time ratio control regulator for said switching means, comprising synchronous means, coupled at the output of said oscillator and responding to the signals thereof, to provide a periodic output signal, having a frequency, which is a multiple of said inverter output frequency; a mixer and trigger pulse generator, coupled to the output of said synchronizing means and having a medium voltage reference source, said pulse generator being responsible for the combination thereof to procure time ratio control trigger pulses for said switching means only during time-spaced intervals from said sequential switching thereof; and, means selectively coupling said time ratio control trigger pulses to said switching means, to control the output of the average voltage from said inverter.
