Abstract

Parallel spaced panel (4, 5) edges, with major plane edges bearing on a sub-frame column (1) face, are held in position by an omega section clip (6): its web (15) being power screwed (7) to the sub-frame (1) and the two flanges (14, 15) bearing on the exposed panel face (4, 5). The space between panels specifically locates on a face of the substructural member (1), thus, masking any junction (12) between this member and secondary structural members (2). The clip fixing screw also supports an externally projecting dovetail clip (9) which in turn locates a suitably dovetail slotted extruded joint concealing strip (8).
