Abstract

An L core block is moulded in plastic to provide series of grooves (7), (8) to accept the pivots of a lever system. Two similar levers (11) are connected by pivot (10) and carry pins (12) at mid-length. Their free ends are connected by pivots to blocks (14) which carry assembly screws (15) having grooved heads (16), to accept the section flanges and also have central holes for hexagon wrench. Oval holes (20) are cut to accommodate the screw heads. On tightening the screws, the lever system draws the heads and therefore the sections in the directions (B) and at the same time the screws clamp the sections to the block faces.
