Abstract

The screen consists of identical vertically elongated rectangular panels (1) with demountable vertical edge connectors forming articulated joints. Each joint comprises vertical round section rod (3) upon which are mounted sliding rotatable clamp blocks (4), alternate clamp blocks being fixed to alternate conjunctive panel edges. The clamp block can comprise a solid cylindrical piece (11) with a diametric bore (12) traversed by the rod (3), having a radial step to an extension of a cut away segmental section. The plane face (9) of the segment is parallel to the bore (12) axis and forms a seat for a panel edge (7), a piece (6) of identical segmental section being used to clamp the edge by means of screw (8) through aligned holes (13).
